Abstract

Camouflage sheeting comprises a combination of a sheet or strip material with a supporting network or mesh or cords. The cords comprise a high tensile core surrounded by a fusible sheath for anchoring the sheet to the cords. The joint made leaves >=260 degrees of the sheathing around the core unchanged so that the core cannot readily to torn out of the sheath. Cords have multifilament cores of polyamide or polyester surrounded by a PVC-based sheathing, pref. with additives which produce a surface resistivity of 100-280 ohm (for anti-radar purposes).
