Abstract

The circuit break in links for telecommunication network cables are contained in a distribution cabinet where the circuits can be tested for continuity. The connecting pins are mounted in the rear face of a movable connecting block. A distribution cabinet contains a number of supports (1) between which are mounted U-shaped brackets (A). The connecting blocks (R) are mounted on the bracket whose arms contain slots (6, 7, 8). Pins (9, 10) on the connecting blocks locate in the slots to permit access to connecting pins (15) by pivoting the blocks on the bracket. Pins (18) on the lateral faces receive the break in connection while the front face is accessible for the plugs (19).
