Abstract

The equipment distributes medicaments in the form of aerosols, having a cartridge containing the aerosol under pressure and with a spray valve. This is accommodated in a sleeve, open at one end, and having at the other a cylindrical cavity on the end wall accommodating the valve push rod, and with a shoulder bearing against the rod. There is a lateral passage from the cavity to the side of the sleeve. A distributor head, with two open ends, fits over this end of the sleeve, and rotates on it so as to bring one or the other of the ends into line with the lateral passage. The ends are of different shapes, to suit treatment of the mouth and nostrils.
