Abstract

The pallet base (2) rests on a number of box beams (4). Each beam is made up of a base (5) with two vertical sides (3), and a horizontal top member (6). The base of the box beam rests on a pallet base (1) which extends the whole length of the pallet. The box beams are arranged at the sides of the pallet, so that adjacent beams on adjacent pallets may be bolted together through the bolt holes (16). The centre of each bolt passes through a locating key, which holds the relative positions of the adjacent pallets.
