Abstract

The contrast changing apparatus has a main light source (1) projecting a main image on a focal plane (3). An auxiliary light source (10) emits a light beam perpendicular to that of the main light source (1). A mirror (20) has plane parallel sides, of which at least one (20a) is partly reflecting. Both the main and auxiliary beams are projected onto it, and it is inclined by about 45 deg. to the axes of the main and auxiliary beams. Its partly reflecting surface (20a) faces the auxiliary light source (10). Auxiliary light thus falls on the focal plane (3) and is mixed with the main light.
