Abstract

The trailer has side walls (1, 2) on both long sides and the fron end. The rear (11) is open and has two blades (10) which curve inwards from a point forward of the rear end. Both terminate (12) near the rear edge, leaving a gap between them. In the floor is a chain slat conveyor (5, 6) and, underneath, the trailer is mounted wheels (3). The towbar (4) rests on the ground, inclining the trailer at an angle; the conveyor is driven (9) from the elevator or the tractor and the bales move upwards, through the gap and onto the elevator. Misplaced bales are deflected back to start again.
