Abstract

A window cleaning aid has a heater plate on which there is a removable strip of absorbent material impregnated with moistening liquid. The strip (5) is held against the heater plate (1) by a fixing device bearing against the plate supporting frame (2). It can have two or more edges folded over, and held by a rubber band, or alternatively pockets in the corners, for the corners of the heater plate. Further alternative methods of fixing are hook strips engaging together on the absorbent strip and frame, or a purse-string (14) passed through the hem of the absorbent strip and pulled tight.
