Class 20(3) In a spring-roller controlled gauge insert screen whose protected sides are guided in channelsection strips 9 a gasket layer of foam plastic material is provided on the surfaces of the hood 2 housing and supporting the spring roller 5 and of the strips 9 which surfaces are attached to the woodwork 1 of the window. Also a similar lining is provided on the window side of the inner strip of the two clamping the free end of the gauze sheet and carrying the locking member and operating handle. A plastic strip 13 is attached to the hood 2 and bears on the gauze roll.
