Abstract

The relaxation or reclining comprises a metal frame part of which forms the basic frame (6-7) for the seat (1) wherein the back rest (2) and leg rest (3) as well as the arm rests (4) are all connected to the base frame. The back rest (2) is connected to another element of the chair via a connecting member (9) wherein one end of this connecting member is connected for articulation with the back rest (2) whilst the other end interacts with the base frame by means of a locking system (14). In one predetermined position the locking system (14) secures the connecting member (9) relative to the base frame thereby locking the back rest in a certain position.
