Abstract
The developing method for electrostatic images is carried on an insulating surface and uses a dry powder which is brought into contact. The developer consists of a mixture of developing powder and carrying particles. The method consists of maintaining the developer at a temp. at least equal to a predetermined temp. at which the electrical properties of the developer are practically stabilised with respect to humidity variations. The developer is heated so as to bring its temperature above 27 deg.C, namely, between 29.5 deg.C and 43 deg.C. The developer can be heated directly or by radiation or conductor means.
