Abstract

Fungicidal compsns. for control of plant diseases contain, as active ingredient, an inorganic, hypophosphite (I) specifically alkali or alkaline earth (esp. Ca or Mg), NH4.Fe, Cu, Ni, Mn, Zn or Al hypophosphites. Used for controlling diseases caused by Phycomycetes Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes and the Fungi Imperfecti, esp. mildew of vines (Plasmopara viticola). They are active by contact, and systemicall by root absorption, and can be used for prevention or cure.
