Abstract

The catalytic burner for used engine oil has a pot shaped portion supported by a set of radial arms which carry a set of ring shaped catalyst members which in turn support the pot. This pot has a hollow interior to receive the radial arms, the hollow part being conical and stepped, the steps locating on corresponding rings of increasing diameter. These rings fit, in turn, on steps down the outer edges of the radial arms. Each arm has a hole through it, level with the uppermost step. The top and bottom of each arm is sloping, the top part sloping inwards to a small diameter ring, the bottom part sloping outwards to a much larger ring.
