Abstract

The closure slide typically has a pointed end which is used to pierce the plastic bag walls which form seals around the slide. The slide is movable so that openings (5) are positioned to allow or prevent flow of material into the slide from the plastic bag. When the material has entered the slide it escapes from the slide via openings (6) in the end of the slide extending from the bag, the slide being easily slidable to control flow of material from the bag.
