Abstract

The temperatures of discrete cutaneous points are taken and recorded in order to determine the instant in time where the temperature taken by the temperature probe passes through a minimum value. A temperature probe (10) contains negative temperature coefficient thermal resistors (4, 5) one (4) of which contacts the front face while the other (5) contacts the body. A heating resistor (3) is also included. The thermal resistors are connected into bridge circuits and unbalanced outputs are applied to amplifiers. A switch permits difference in unbalance to be obtained. The output of one amplifier is used to determine the minimum temperature and the reference temperature for application to an X-Y plotting table.
