Abstract
The roof element for buildings, is made up from a number of arcuate roof tiles, of conventional shape, joined to each other by the usual method of laying. The elements have their edges shaped in such a way that every element can be laid with others in a row. They consist of an asbestos-cement structure, press-moulded so as to form a series of tiles, set on top of each other in a row, partially overlapping in the direction of roof slope, and with a fitting on one long side to accommodate the opposite side of the next element. Asbestos cement with no surface treatment, or in a variety of colours may be used. Elements may be screwed to the roof battens.
