Abstract

The freezer basket is moulded from plastic and has openwork ribbed sides and solid ends tapering downwards. A flat rim (2) is provided around the top edges. At each end is a U shaped wire handle having two 90 deg. bends each side, forming vertical portions (7). Each leg of the handle slides longitudinally in bearings moulded onto the basket sides. Several notches (8) are provided in the rim, near each corner and along each side. The vertical portions of each handle are held elastically in a selected pair of notches, so that the handles may be variably extended to support the basket from ledges in the freezer or so that the handles may be held over the rim (2) and the basket placed in the bottom of the freezer.
