Abstract

The frame is of sheet metal sections, having two or more bases of such sections bent into inverted-U shapes, the free ends forming the feet. Parallel cross-members rest on the bases, the outer ones being secured to both, while the intervening ones are secured to one only. The central part of each inverted-U section can act as the supporting surface of the base, having a lower shoulder on one or both sides, also a free wing extending downwards. Two side portions of the free ends of the section can be partly separated from the central part by U-section grooves.
