Abstract

A device to determine corrections of sensivity or colour is used in the transmission of photographic or cinema photographic pictures. The transfer consists of operations required to reproduce the photographs or to transmit the films by television. The device has a projector, a separator and vidicon tubes to obtain three primary pictures from an initial picture and to analyse the primary pictures by frame and line sweep. The vidicon tube of each primary picture channel is connected to a preamplifier, then to two stages of correction A television set is used to check the colour corrected picture. The stages of correction have automatic gain control. The output of an inverter is connected to detectors. The detectors are connected to level comparators. The comparators are also connected to memory circuits and they control the gain of the correcting stages.
