Abstract

A dater hand stamp has a number of endless belts (5) which carry on their outside faces all the required symbols (11). The belts are installed over two parallel shafts (7, 27) which are located between the two side plates (2) of the stamp body. Shaft (27) has a number of radially flexible lugs (22) which locate in axial grooves (26) in the belt wheels (4), thus securing the printing belt against unwanted rotation. The upper half of the belt (5) carries symboles (12) which display the setting of the stamp through a window (6) in the stamp body.
