Abstract

The adjusting mechanism is used for actuating motor vehicle windows. This mechanism has a reciprocating pivoted actuating arm radially adjustable direction change system. This mechanism acts reliably, has a long life and it has small dimensions. The actuating mechanism has two coaxial gear wheels (11, 13) which are coupled by an intermediate gear wheel (16). The coaxial gears are coupled to the drive by means of helical torsion springs (18, 19) whose ends are connected to an actuating arm with claws by sliding for selecting the actuation direction. Despite small dimensions the mechanism has a long working life.
