Abstract

The attachment plate (10) is flat and has, at one end, a hole (18) used to hold the safety belt. At the other end is another hole (12), and between theise is further hole (13). Two of the holes (12, 13) are joined by a slot (14) narrower in width than their diameter. A peg (15) is used on the bodywork of the vehicle to secure the belt, and has a flat each side of the peg diameter (15a), both being parallel and at an angle. The height of the belt is adjusted by sliding the plate along the slot, using the flats, into one of the holes.
