Abstract

The reinforcement mesh for use in hollow, connecting concrete pipes, is comprised of horizontal and vertical wires. A specified number of the horizontal steel wires (2) have a minimum 18% coefficient of extension, while the remaining horizontal wires (1) and all of the vertical wires (3) are made of non-tempered steel with a 5% coefficient of extension. This allows the mesh to be stretched and elongated to accommodate the winder section required at the female pipe joint sockets.
