Abstract

A feed stuff is prepd. from brewing residues, the main constituent being beer residues, by reducing the liquid content and the material packed portion wise into air tight sacks which are then closed so that they are air tight, an additive being added to and mixed with the beer residues before packing and air being evacuated from the sack before closure. This method enables the prod. to have high and consistent quality and to have a long shelf life. The prod. is used to feed animals in autumn and winteR.
