Abstract

A dung removal system having a horizontally moving rake type conveyor and a piston operating vertically which further moves the scraped up dung, such that either of these devices is motor driven, has two piston cylinders (11, 16) with pistons (13, 17) operating within them attached connected such at both ends of one cylinder are connected by pipes (14, 15) to one end of the other cylinder to form a closed system at one end of the cylinder. This closed system is filled completely with a fluid e.g. oil and one cylinder of the pair drives the rake conveyor or the compressing piston and the other the plant item not operated by the first cylinder.
