Abstract
The apparatus disclosed in any of Claims 2-7 of the parent application is improved in that the gas turbine used in the fast neutron, sodium-cooled nuclear reactor also drives at least one primary sodium pump, and optimally at least one of the secondary sodium pumps as well as at least one main or stand-by water pump, supplying the steam generator. Gives improved reactor control.
