Abstract

Modular structural blocks comprising a core of plaster enclosed in a sheath of solid and/or expanded PVC. Combines the strength of a mineral core with the impermeability and insulating properties of a plastic sheath. More reproducible than stone blocks or timber. Good fire resistance. The upper, lower and end faces feature straight grooves parallel to the block axes to assist alignment. One side face may resemble stone for external appearances, and the other side face may have a decorative surface, e.g. imitation wood.
