Abstract

Mixed fertiliser compsns. comprise a mixt. of (a) isobutylidene-diurea (1BDU) particles, pref. in the form of granules with an av. particle size of 0.7-4.5 mm, opt. dyed with a water- and/or alcohol-soluble dye, and (b) particles contg. one or more fertilizer components, pref. pigmented. Formulating the 1BDU as a dry mix with other components in separate particles avoids impairment of the slow-release properties of the 1BDU and allows free choice of the other components. Water- and alcohol-soluble dyes adhere more strongly to the 1BDU particles than conventional oil-soluble dyes.
