Abstract

The lamp may be used for illumination or for projection of decorative patterns. It has a casing (1) which is cylindrical in shape and which is made of either opaque or translucent material. An incandescent electric light bulb (1) is mounted on a bracket (12) and is surrounded by a casing with cooling fins (13). A lens (14) may be used to concentrate light leaving the clamp onto patterns (21) on a rotating disc (20). The light after passing through a window (16) in the end cover plate (2) of the casing. The motor turning the disc (20) consists of a conducting dics (22) acted on by electromagnets (23).
