Abstract

The double glazing frame is plastic or metal extrusion cut to the required dimensions and fitted together. A flange all round the exterior has a shallw groove which holds a flat a seal (e) compressed against the window frame by screws (d) through the flange. On the inner face of the extrusion, inside the air space, is a deeper groove around the frame. This groove contains a dessicant (i) which is held in place by a perforated cover (h).
