Abstract

The mechanism is particularly for an indirect dry offset printing machine and has rollers for ink accumulation or transfer from a reservoir. The rollers are grouped (2-6) into a single assembly unit, so that they can be inserted in or removed from their mounting in the printing machine in cassette fashion. The mounting can comprise two side components, joined to each other by struts running parallel to the rollers, while one or more of the rollers can have dogs etc. by which it engages with a driving component of the printing machine. The ink accumulation, distribution and transfer rollers can be arranged in satellite pattern round a central transfer roller.
