Abstract

The connector strips are intended to accept the flat conductors of cables or wiring. Groups of cables have their individual conductors fanned out, the ends required to make electrical contact being stripped of insulation. The connector strip (21) is of some heat resisting material and has a series of rectangular slots extending through from the cable entry side to the equipment side. Into these slots is fitted a comb like structure (33) carrying sprung metal loops (34) over which the incoming conductor (41) is laid. Inserting the comb and conductors into the connector block presses the conductor against that (11) leading into the equipment.
