Abstract

The element comprises parallel inner and outer metal sheets (20) contg. a bonded inner core with perpendicular edges (22) formed by a return folding of the sheets, rounded edges (17) and corners (24), and fixing bars contained longitudinally within the edges. The edges (17) are rounded to 5mm radii and free sheet edges at corners (24) overlap. The sheet edge returns are of 'L' section providing abuting and sealing sheet interfaces. Door and wall panels are of the same height and typically formed of plastic sheet. Poor hinges are concealed and have springs ensuring automatic closing of the doors.
