Abstract

The distributor has a co-axial inner and outer rotors whose relative angular portions may be varied, the rotors having a number of ports to selectively connect the hydraulic pressure with the power cylinder and the cylinders with the drain outlet, one rotor being connected with the steering column and the other with the power mechanism and with one end of a torsion rod which extends through its central core and is connected with the steering column. The inner rotor has a number of circumferentially spaced blind axial bores connecting with axially spaced radial connection ports.
