Abstract

Cpds. of formula (I) and their acid addition salts. (where X is H or halo, n is 1-4, R1 R2 are each opt. branched, opt. satd. 1-6C aliphatic hydrocarbyl m is 1-5, Y is O, -OOC- or -CONH- R4, R5, R6 are each H, halo, R7 OR7 or -COR7 R7 is opt. branched 1-4C alkyl) are Cardiovascular agents suitable for treatment of angina which have superior properties to those of lidoflazine. They are administered orally (daily dose 40-400 m), as suppositories (10-100 mg daily) or parenterally (10-150 mg daily). Pharmacological tests show (I) increase cardiac flow, lower peripheral resistance, increase coronary flow, lower myocardial oxygen consumption and increase cardiac yield.
