Abstract

Lithographic printing is carried out by placing on a support plate a curable pasty matl., forming the relief to be printed in the lithographic substrate sheet, curing the pasty matl., talcing the support plate, and printing. Reliefs may be produced between 0 and 10 mm., and the rubber coating of the cylinder may be replaced by a thick felt. Wetting of the lithographic plate is pref. replaced by a coating of talc. The resulting lithographic comprises at least some relief portions and some printed portions. The support plate used may be e.g., a Zn plate from which grease is removed by a degreasing agent, e.g., trichloroethylene.
