Abstract

The lighter comprises a reservoir member adapted to contain fuel under pressure, the reservoir member having parts forming an annular cavity, a resilient sealing ring mounted in the cavity, a valve element mounted within the reservoir member for movement toward and away from the sealing ring, the valve element having an end surface engageable with the sealing ring to form a seal. An ignition member has a hollow projection extending through the sealing ring in sliding sealing engagement, inter-engaging parts on the hollow projection.
