Abstract

A tilting window which rotates almost a complete turn about a horizontal pivot, and which carries an arm greater than half the height of the window, attached to another shorter arm, interconnected with the fixed frame, cooperating with sliders and rollers housed in the fixed frame, has the pivot axes of these arms staggered, by a distance which also allows for the thickness of a sealing layer around half of the swinging frame and which seals against the fixed frame in the closed position, permitting an uninterrupted rotation into an almost completely reversed position, even if the arms have an enlarged portion forming part of the sealing arrangement in the closed position.
