Abstract

The fuel distribution system incorporates a main tank, a pumping and degassing unit and one or more issuing stations. Means are included for keeping the pressure constant in the distribution piping whatever the rate of flow, even if nil. This can be achieved by a ballast liquid (9) the pressure of which is transmitted to the fuel via a distorting diaphragm (10). The latter can be mounted in a buffer chamber, divided by it into two, the top part being filled by the fuel (8) from the tank, while the ballast liquid is supplied from a vessel above the level of the buffer chamber.
