Abstract

There is a gear selector and engaging lever passing through part (7) of the cabin (2) and operating an external transmission control linkage which comprises a long bush (8) containing a slidable male element (9). The bush and male element can be fixed together to transmit forward, backward and twisting movements by a locking device (30) pivotal on a guide (21) fixed to the male element. The rear of the device has a hook (32) engaging a positioning sleeve (25) fixed to the bush (8). The sleeve (25) has a finger (24) engaging in a groove on the guide (21) to key the bush and male element, and the guide has a shoulder (29) against which the guide engages.
