Abstract

The chair consists of a support (1) which rests on the ground, a seat (2) which is articulated on the support, and a back rest (3) also articulated on the support. Both the seat and the back rest have two faces (2d, 2e;3d, 3e), those which are used when the chair is used as an armchair being softer than those used in the upright position. The back rest can rotate through at least 150 deg. from the vertical position while the seat rotates through about 180 deg. The seat and back rest have locking devices.
