Abstract

The conduits may be used to carry liquids, gases or electrical cables and are made of plastics material in groups of any number in one plane. Exterior surfaces consist of flat portions (8, 9, 10) connected via grooves (14, 15) the flat portions being intended for support and the grooves for anchoring. Internally, the conduits are cylindrical and at the ends, each has an inset toroidal sealing ring (5, 6, 7). Junction tubes (18) are provided, singly or in groups to join banks of conduits together. These junction tubes have exterior shoulders (19) mid-way along their length to ensure that they project equal distances inside each conduit and past the seals on assembly.
