Abstract

The control motor (1) drives the control shaft (2) on which are cams (3, 4). The shaft is hollow and is used for operating a switch, connected with the control system which actuates several pinions (A, D) in or out of gear. There is a fork drive (8). When in operation the shaft (2) is driven by the motor with the cams (3, 4) together with the rollers (6). The drive follows through to the forks (8) which displace one side or the other of the sliding gears (12, 13, 14, 15) on the shaft (17) until the switch stops the motor, after obtaining the desired gearbox position.
