Abstract

A machine for the continuous production of ice cream combines the emulsifier with the refrigerated processing cylinder. The latter contains a small-dia. worm conveyor, epicyclic mixing elements, scrapers and a large-diameter worm conveyor. The latter effects the last kneading process before the ice cream is discharged. The ice cream is never exposed to atmospheric air and does not lose its aroma. The mixing and kneading action is such that a fully homogeneous ice cream is produced. All parts are easily accessible.
