Abstract

The seat and back rest of the adjustable baby chair are connected together by infinitely adjustable clamping joints which lock the draw or traction members which engage on the edges of the seat and backrest. The effective length of the draw members can be altered by suitable adjusting the clamping joints and the edges engaged by the draw members can be elevated at the sides of the seat and back. The draw members can be in the form or rigid rods hinged to the parts of the chair whilst the clamping joints may be formed from at least two discs which are attached to the seat and back opposite each other and have guide channels for the rods.
