Abstract

An eccentric cam is fixed to a wheel operating a switch lever once per revolution of the wheel. The switch is in the lamp circuit, which causes intermediate illumination. A reverser, with stop stud enables the unit to be set to work or shut off. The application is aimed mainly at two wheeled vehicles. The device is less likely to fail than conventional devices using e.g. bimetal strips, and not subject to heating delays, especially in cold weather.
