Abstract

The finger nail washing appliance has a cylindrical covered vessel embodying an upper chamber contg. cleansing liquid (H) and rotating brushes (C, B) above a motor (E) and power source (F) (i.e. batteries) locating below. Five apertures in the cover permit finger tip insertion, and direct the finger tips into the area swept by the brushes. Several brushes are employed, combining vertical and horizontal bristles, and the sense of brush rotation may be automatically alternated. The appliance is particularly for medical personnel or personnel subject to chemical contamincation. The appliance may also be used for handicapped persons.
