Abstract

The system turns the containers through 90 deg. about their lengthwise axis, being particularly for use when sandblasting or painting the underside. A first hoist is coupled to the corner fittings at the top corners of the container, and a second one to the diagonally opposite bottom ones, the top and bottom corners concerned being at the same sides of the container. This is then lifted clear of the transporter truck, and manipulated by means of the two hoists until it has been turned through 90 deg., after which it is lowered onto the truck again.
