Abstract

A cigarette lighter (1) is mounted on a strap (3) to be worn in the same way as a wristwatch, having similar end fittings on the casing for permanent attachment to the looped ends (2) of the strap. The lighting mechanism is covered by sliding flaps (4) which may be operated by a push button (5) on the side of the casing, and similarly the lighting mechanism may also be operated by a similar push button (6). For safety, the flaps and igniter may be operated together. The casing may be rectangular, with the push buttons at the ends, or may be circular with the buttons on the side, or another shape may be used.
