Abstract

The circular sawing machine with a pivoting arm, especially for steel and non-ferrous metals, has a bearing block for the pivoting arm on the machine bed, in which the circular saw blade is carried and which is pivoted by a hydraulic piston drive. The pivoting arm is supported in a bearing of a plate which is supported with its other bearing on the bearing block. The spacing of the two bearings in the plate is approximately equal to the half stroke length of the circular saw blade. The pivoting arm is pressed against the bearing block by means of tensioning anchor through the plate actuated by a compression spring.
