Abstract

Contaminated water with waste particles floating on an below its surface is clarified by sucking it into an adjustable spout at the bow of a self-proplled boat. After mixing with a flocculant the fluid is passed to a retention zone where air in the fine jets is blown in to assist flocculation. The flocks are removed by filtering, the expelled clarified fluid is used to assist the forward thrust of the boat.
